Zusammenfassung: | A numerical approach is developed to incorporate water into a constitutive model ARMOR (a rheological model for rocks) for dry geomaterials. This approach is applied to create a new model known as ARMORS (ARMOR saturated) for partially saturated geomaterials by coupling a Mie–Gruneisen equation of state for water with the ARMOR model for dry rocks. Some experiments on tuff with 60% and 80% water saturation are compared with the new ARMORS model. |
