Amerada hess Scott platform converts to through-tubing rotary drilling

Partners in the Amerada Hess Scott platform in the North Sea opted to convert the drilling facilities to allow through-tubing rotary drilling (TTRD) operations and extend the drilling life. In this article, the project, which was handled by KCA Deutag, is described in detail.
