Zusammenfassung:In this paper, the mechanism of the corner shear failure was examined on the pile cap with short the distance from slab periphery to pile center, and "it was clarified that the shear capacity of the pile cap could be estimated using the results of finite element analysis. Then, the pile cap models in which the dimension variously changed were analyzed by the finite element method, and the effective coefficient equation for the shear strength estimation was presented. The calculated values according to the authors' equation agreed well with the experimental results.
