Zusammenfassung:We present the first reports on nano-sized Co100-xCrx alloys (0 # < x # < 40), prepared by the sonochemical decomposition of respective metal-organic precursors. Samples heat-treated at 900 deg C, exhibit a negative magneto-resistance ratio ranging from -1 to -4% at room temperature and at a field of 4 Tesla, owing to the tunneling conduction mechanism, while those heat treated at 300 deg C show an MR of about ~2% at 4.2 K and 300 K. Co100-xCrx nano-alloys heat-treated at 300 deg C show an hcp phase, while 900 deg C sintered samples show a pure hcp phase for x = 20 and 30 and a pure hcp phase for x = 40 samples.
