Zusammenfassung:We fabricated RE–Ba–Cu–O (REBCO) (RE: rare earth=Dy, Ho, Er, and Tm) films on LaAlO 3 single crystalline substrates by metal-organic deposition using trifluoroacetates. DyBCO was found to possess the widest processing temperature window for preparing strongly c-axis oriented films, which decreased in the order of RE=Ho, Er, and Tm. The superconducting critical temperatures ( T c) of the films were equivalent to the reported values of respective sintered samples. The transport critical current densities ( J c) in self-field at 77 K exceeded 3 × 10 6 A/cm 2 for the RE=Dy, Ho, and Er films.
