Crossflow microfiltration enhances acid recycling process

Over the last ten years membrane based crossflow micro-filtration has found broad application in a multitude of industrial processes, including the recycling of paints, pigments and metals, the separation of emulsions, as well as in biotechnology processes such as yeast separation and brewing. A relatively new field of application is in the purification of spent inorganic acid solutions such as the spent acids from steel pickling baths.
