Experimental investigation of mathematic model on rolls wear in rolling

The wear characteristics of high chromium and high speed steel rolls are investigated with the DTW-166 thermal wear testing machine developed by us. The mathematic model of rolls wear in rolling is set up based on the analysis of the relationship between the rolls wear and rolling parameter. The improvement of the structure of the mathematic model for rolls wear is done on the basis of the practice. The mathematic model of rolls wear is regressed from the data obtained in the experimental conditions. It will be significant to improve the quality of strip shape.
