Temperature measurement accuracy in cooling curve analysis

Probe systems for cooling curve analysis must accurately measure temperature with respect to time. The required combination of maximum thermocouple sensitivity and minimal temperature lag can be obtained by matching as closely as possible the thermal properties of probe and thermocouple materials.
