Zusammenfassung:Three experimental nickel based superalloy compositions were obtained to test the effect of palladium on the oxidation rate. Oxidation testing was performed at 1100 and 1200 degree C. In case of niobium alloys it was found that 3% palladium additions were not sufficient to improve oxidation resistance of all the niobium alloys, even at 1200 degree C.
