Zusammenfassung:The results of calculations for the field profiles, and for local and global magnetisation, in BSCCO-2212 single crystal specimens in the regime of the solid/liquid intermediate state are presented and compared with experimental data. The calculations are based on an assumption of a first-order transition between explicit equilibrium constitutive B rev( H) relations for the solid and liquid vortex matter states at a characteristic hysteretic internal field H m. The procedures for the accurate determination of the entropy of melting from global and local magnetisation data in the intermediate state regime are described.
