Zusammenfassung: | Organic-inorganic hybrid materials have been studied profitably, because they are expected to exhibit novel properties by a combination of both organic and inorganic characteristics. Many papers on the syntheses of multi-dimensional polymers made via coordination polymerization have been reported, however, hybrid materials with really useful properties do not seem to have been developed. Copolymers with covalent organic-inorganic structure will provide novel composite materials with new electrical, magnetic and/or optical properties, because the electronic interaction between the inorganic element and organic moiety is expected to be easily controlled by changing the organic moiety in a network. A previous paper described the shape and electronic property of covalent titanium-organic hybrid copolymers obtained by the reaction of titanium tetra isopropoxide with several organic diols. In this work, as one of a series of organic-inorganic hybrid copolymers, we have tried to prepare novel networked ytterbium-organic moieties hybrid copolymers with alternative organic-inorganic structure by reacting ytterbium isopropoxide with several organic diols. |
