Zusammenfassung:The blast furnaces at the Chusovoi Metallurgical Plant operate on coke obtained from outside sources. The coke is received at the open ore yard of the plant and is later transported to 225 m exp 3 and 1033 m exp 3 blast furnaces Nos. 1 and 2. The coke balance is shown in Figure 1. Coke of the +40 mm fraction is used on the large furnace, while coke of the 20-40 mm fraction is charged into blast furnace No. 1. The -20 mm fraction is treated as commercial coke fines.
