Zusammenfassung: | Resonant magnetic scattering with polarized soft X-rays was employed to investigate simultaneously structural and magnetic properties of giant magnetoresistive Co/Cu multilayers. In situ annealing up to 225°C reduced the initially antiferromagnetic coupling of the Co layers, leading to an increased ferromagnetic coupling contribution, as also seen by in situ transport measurements. Angle-dependent changes of the asymmetry of reflectometry curves are discussed. |
