Prototype of Bi-2223 coil
A small prototype coil has been made using a Ag-clad (Bi,Pb) 2Sr 2Ca 2Cu 3O 10+x multifilament tape. Research carried out on the coil has addressed the basic concerns of the Bi2223 tape, and consequently the tape can be verified for practical applications.
