Zusammenfassung:The MISiS (Moscow State Institute of Steel and Alloys) has studied the feasibility of using organosilicon plastic wastes in blast furnaces. Such a possibility was first examined in the 1970s. Subsequent studies employed the method of thermodynamic modeling with the use of the IVTANThermo programs. Thermodynamic modeling makes it possible to calculate the equilibrium states of complex systems consisting of a large number of components in different states of aggregation.
