Zusammenfassung: | Ti-48(at%)Al and Ti-48(at%)Al-1(at%)Ag PM alloys were produced through Reactive Hot Isostatic Pressing (RHIP). Two Al powder sizes and two RHIP holding times at 1200 deg C/180MPa were used. The produced alloys were given a heat treatment of 2h at 1250 deg C, followed by 10h at 1000 deg C and characterized. The effect of the varied parameters including the 1(at%)Ag addition was found very small, similar microstructures, Young's modulus and ultimate tensile strength having been obtained for all the alloys. |
