Zusammenfassung:Some vibration experiments are designed for the scientific justification and feasibility of using kinematic GPS technology to identify the vibration characteristics. The spectral analysis results indicate that clear and accurate vibration characteristics such as relative displacements and frequencies of at least about 0.25 F can be derived from GPS observations with sampling frequency F. This capability can be applied to safety monitoring purposes for large structures. (Author)
