Zusammenfassung: | In this paper, a hybrid intelligent system based on neural networks (NNs) and expert systems (ES) is described for the design of new hydro-carbon structures. A set of desirable properties for the hydro-carbon is fed into a neural network which estimates the number of carbons required. This information is used in an ES to predict possible structures. The properties of each structure are estimated using the second NN, and the hydro-carbon structure with the best set of properties will be selected. |
