Zusammenfassung: | The determination of strain and creep in high-temperature composite materials that serve under the action of mechanical loads and high temperatures requires reliable equipment and quite high accuracy of measurement. The installation described, based on a commercial device, makes it possible to perform tests at a temperature of up to 1550 C at a load of 0.1-20 MPa by the method of uniaxial compression. Its special feature is the elimination of "end effects", i.e., detection of the changes in the linear sizes (the length) of specimens only in the zone of uniform distribution of stresses. 14 refs. |
