Industrial magnetic measurements

Industrial measurements have a special need to combine acceptable accuracy with modest cost. An examination is made of techniques used in industry to obtain on-line figures by non-contact methods during steel production. Hardness is considered using a multi-parameter digital technique to predict Vickers hardness numbers. Cross-sectional area is derived from J sat assessment and non-enwrapping power loss devices are described.
