Zusammenfassung:Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is considered very important because of the increased risk for cardiovascular diseases. Identifying modifiable factors may help prevent MetS. We aimed to investigate the relationship between iodine intake as a dietary factor and MetS in euthyroid adult in an iodine-replete area. A total of 4,277 adult aged ≥19 years from the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey VI (2013–2015) with urinary iodine concentration (UIC) results and normal thyroid function were included.
