Zusammenfassung: | The calibration of Kyviskes Calibration Baseline is analysed in the publication. The calibration line was established in 1996 to meet the needs of calibration of electronic distance measurement (EDM) instruments in Lithuania. Results (lengths and uncertainties) and analysis of the two calibrations, baseline measurements in 1997 and 2001, are presented here. These calibrations serve the stability control of the baseline and the verification of measurements in accordance with various standards. The lengths of baseline sections are traceable to the definition of the metre through an unbroken traceability chain. Since the practical performance of a baseline measurement with high-precision EDM is much of the same kind as a calibration of lower precision EDM instrument, this presentation may advantage the customers of the baseline, too. |
