Zusammenfassung:Information theory and other mathematical theorems were applied in discussing significant problems in molecular biology using segregated, linear and digital character of the genome. The horizontal gene transfer erased the record of the earliest genetic sequences. The application of the mathematical procedures played a important role in molecular biology analogous to that of thermodynamics in chemistry.
