Influence of temperature and pressure on magnetic properties of granular Co–Cu system

The effect of temperature (10–300 K) and high hydrostatic pressure (7 kbar) on the magnetic properties of nanometer-sized Co-particles embedded in the Cu-matrix was studied. Zusammenfassung:The effect of temperature (10–300 K) and high hydrostatic pressure (7 kbar) on the magnetic properties of nanometer-sized Co-particles embedded in the Cu-matrix was studied. The analysis of the experimental results showed that the system displayed mictomagnetic behavior. The observed changes of coercivity with temperature and pressure were interpreted taking into account also the determined distribution of the blocking temperatures of the Co-particles. The influence of temperature and pressure on the present inter-particle interactions is discussed.
