Zusammenfassung:The kinetics of polymerization of methyl methacrylate were studied with the Mn(acac) sub 3 -AlEt sub 2 Br and Mn(acac) sub 3 -ZnEt sub 2 catalyst systems in benzene at 40 deg C. Kinetic studies were carried out at the optimum catalyst compositions of AlMn=2 and Zn/Mn=5. A radical mechanism is proposed on the basis of the structure of the polymer and M sub w /M sub n values.
