Zusammenfassung: | The influence of the modification of a cathode material by MgO on the electrochemical properties of Li sub(x)Ni sub(1-y)Co sub(y)O sub(2) batteries was investigated. Subtle changes in the crystallinity of the semi-crystalline core during the processing caused a relatively large variation in the performance of the battery. The generation of the minor phase of Mg sub(1-x)Ni sub(x)O lowered the initial discharge capacity of the battery. The cycle-reversibility of the battery was greatly improved. |
