Zusammenfassung: | Estimates the prevalence of incontinence after stroke in Aotearoa New Zealand. Explores if the prevalence of incontinence after stroke is related to ethnicity, including after adjustment for other important predictors of incontinence such as age and stroke severity. Considers the strength of association, adjusted for important predictors of incontinence, between mortality and/or living in residential care with incontinence. Assesses whether mobility status is an effect modifier to the association between living in residential care and continence. Estimates the health utilities in patients with and without incontinence.
