Zusammenfassung:Although high temperature deformations of dispersion strengthening alloys and short fiber reinforced metal matrix composites have been studied independently, we should understand them as an unified form of that of inclusion bearing materials, noticing accommodation of misfit strains between matrix and inclusions. The present study reports the experimental examination that spherical-Al2O3-particle-dispersed Al-matrix-composite fabricated through pressurized casting shows different deformation modes depending on the strain rate with the respective accommodation processes.
