Zusammenfassung: | Prediabetes with hypertension or prehypertension increases the risk of cardiovascular events. Lipid accumulation product (LAP) is a powerful marker of visceral obesity. The current study aimed to explore the relationship between LAP and hypertension and prehypertension among prediabetic individuals. A total of 12,388 prediabetic participants from the REACTION study were recruited. LAP was calculated from waist circumference and fasting triglyceride levels. Multiple logistic regression models were conducted to assess the relationship between LAP and hypertension and prehypertension. Multiple logistic regression analysis showed that elevated LAP was associated with hypertension (Q2: odds ratio (OR): 1.263, P |
