Zusammenfassung:A method to embed fine-wire thermocouples in solid-fuel samples was developed for measuring solid-fuel surface temperatures and condensed-phase temperature profiles under a wide range of motor operating conditions. This method should be very useful for advancing the diagnostic technique in hybrid combustion study as well as for deducing important parameters relating to solid-fuel regression behavior.
