Zusammenfassung: | The Grady-Kipp fragmentation model has been implemented as a constitutive augmentation of the Eulerian hydrocode CTH, and applied in the simulation of oblique hypervelocity impacts on space debris shielding. Comparison of the simulation results to experimentally derived ballistic limit data shows good agreement at an impact velocity of seven killometers per second. |
