Zusammenfassung:The authors have conducted the development of powder manufacturing technology of a Nb sub 3 Al intermetallic compound while participating in a research project sponsored by MITI and succeeded in the development of plasma melting gas atomizing method (PMGA). Features of Nb sub 3 Al rapidly solidified powder are reported. A PMGA instrument with 10 kg capacity and 450 Kw was constructed.
