Zusammenfassung:La2-xSrxNiO4 (x = 0-1.4) solid solutions were prepared by the citrate and by solid state reaction routes. The decomposition mechanism of the citrate precursors was studied by TGA and XRD. The sintering temperature of La2-xSrxNiO4 (x less than 1.0) was decreased by 150-200 C compared to the ceramic method. Powders with particle sizes of about 0.5-2 micron and sintered compacts with densities of 95-97% were obtained. 5 refs.
