Zn does not passivate at 25\0\C at 10\+-6\- M concentration of dissolved species, due to the uncharged complex. Zn passivates at concentrations of 10\+-5.7\- or above of dissolved species at 25\0\C and the oxide and not the hydroxide is the stable passive phase of Zn at 25-300\0\C. |
