Zusammenfassung:Viscosity of the CaO-CaF sub 2 -Cr sub 2 O sub 3 system (15% < CaO < 25%, 75% < CaF sub 2 < 85%, 0% < Cr sub 2 O sub 3 , 10%) in steel refining was measured by the vibrational resonant amplitude method. From the experimental data on slags viscosity as a function of temperature, liquidus temperatures were determined. Viscosities and liquidus temperatures were found to increase with an increase in the chromium oxide concentration in the slag.
