Zusammenfassung:To produce reliable welded joints in NG cast iron and carbon steel in components operating under a pressure of < =6.4 MPa it is recommended to use automatic welding under a AN-348 flux with Sv-08 electrode wire 2 mm in diameter through a layer of granulated filler of the same wire without subsequent heat treatment of the welded joint. The welded joints in these materials operating in vessels under a pressure of < =21 MPa, produced by the same welding method, must be subjected to graphitising annealing. Welding of NG cast iron to carbon steel in components not working under pressure and designed mainly for single and small-series production is carried out manually using direct current reverse polarity (plus on the electrode) with UONI-13/45 electrodes.
