Zusammenfassung: | It is very important to be able to simulate and control the macro compositional segregation of alloyed elements in order to produce large ingots for forging with high quality and reliablity. The simulation model is based on solidification analysis and material balance calculations for solute redistribution during solidification. In order to improve accuracy, it was considered that equilibrium distribution coefficient is an important factor in practical steels. Application of the thermodynamic database, showed that the calculated results were in excellent agreement with experimental results. |
