Doubt cast on established opinion - Surprising results of an investigation of NaCl supply (microgravity effects)

Two experiments were conducted to study the effects of NaCl supply on plasma volume reduction in human subjects in microgravity conditions. The results obtained contradict established opinion: elevated NaCl-supply did not lead to an increase in extracelullar volume in young, healthy males. (CSA)
