Transient stability enhancement using self adjusting-flexible variable series capacitor compensation
The paper presents a novel flexible, self-adjusting variable series capacitor compensation(VSrC) scheme to enhance transient stability of an interconnected AC system. The scheme is regulated by an error-driven, error-scaled non-linear transigmoid controller.
