Zusammenfassung: | The adhesion of the coating types used on optical fiber sensors was studied and the influence of surface coatings on the interfacial shear strength between the optical fiber sensors and the matrix was determined. A single fiber pull-out method was used to measure the effect of various surface coatings applied to the optical fibers on the fiber-matrix interfacial shear strength. The surface coating of optical fibers with silanes improved their adhesion properties at fiber-matrix interface. |
