Zusammenfassung:This paper describes the design, construction and performance of a double \+sp\3\-sp\He-\+sp\4\-sp\He refrigerator, used to cool a multiband bolometric photometer at the MITO telescope. The refrigerator works without external pumps, with the main cryostat providing a 4.2 K thermostat at sea level and a 4.0 K thermostat under high mountain pressure conditions. Without any relevant changes in performance, the cryostat can operate when tilted down to 50 degrees from vertical, as required at the telescope focal plane. (Original abstract - amended)
