Zusammenfassung:Radial artery occlusion remains an unsolved problem with radial access even when patent hemostasis technique is used. Ulnar compression during radial artery patent hemostasis further decreases radial artery occlusion and is recognized as a radial access "best practice". In this study ulnar compression with a 2‐bladder band decreased radial occlusion rates compared to conventional patent hemostasis with a 1‐bladder band and may offer an elegant solution to the problem of how to achieve ulnar compression.
