Development of high-performance millimeter-size vibrator for cellular phones

The more recent, thin cellular phones have a vibration function generated by a rotary vibration motor. We have developed a low power, thin linear oscillatory actuator. Its vibration acceleration is larger than that of rotary vibration motors and its power consumption is lower.
