Zusammenfassung:One magnon excitations in cubic MBE-grown Mg 1 − x Mn x Te layers (where x ⩾ 0.7) were observed by means of Raman-scattering measurements below Néel temperature. Elastic and inelastic neutron-scattering measurements were performed on a few micrometer thick MnTe layers. MnTe lattice distortion resulting from the magnetostriction effect was confirmed and neutron scattering on magnons was demonstrated.
