Zusammenfassung: | The design and underlying principles of a new system of the magnetic testing of oil pipes based on anisotropic magnetoresistive transducers are considered. At present, many Russian oil companies carry out reconstruction of exploited tubing strings and drill pipes. This makes it possible in proper time to reveal pipes of poor quality or exhausted the capacity for work as a result of the deterioration or the presence of flaws. As a result, in the process of round-trip and operation the number of pipe breaks can be substantially reduced. The process of pipe restoration includes many technological operations (pipe cleaning of mud, oils, and rust, washing, dressing, etc.). One of the most important technological operations is nondestructive testing on the basis of which the further destiny of the restored pipe is determined. The efficiency and safety of operation of the whole oil-field plant depends on the efficiency of the nondestructive testing (NDT) employed and the reliability of its indications. Therefore, the choice of the optimum NDT is the rather topical problem. |
