Zusammenfassung:An investigation on phase separation and coordination in polyvinylpyrrolidone-neodymium chloride (PVP-NdCl sub(3)) complex was presented. The complexes were prepared by mixing NdCl sub(3) and PVP with different weight ratios in water. The results proved coordination of PVP-NdCl sub(3) complex system by the temperature-variable FT-IR spectra and PVP-NdCl sub(3) system near the amide I region of PVP. Phase separation in this system was directly observed by TEM and near-field scanning optical microscopy (NSOM).
