Zusammenfassung:In this issue, Mesa et al. present the results of two independent surveys: the TouchStone SM Survey, which reports patient experiences with systemic mastocytosis (SM), and the TouchStone Healthcare Provider Survey, which reports perceptions of health care providers who care for patients with SM. Both patients and providers report significant symptom burden experienced by patients with SM, and discrepancies between provider perceptions and the existing literature warrant further investigation.
