Zusammenfassung:A precipitate coating Al(OH)3 on Si3N4 particles improved the adsorption of ammonium polyacrylate (NH4PA) dispersant on Si3N4. The coating of Al(OH)3 on Si3N4 particles resulted in a bayerite-like surface with a small amount of gibbsite-like structure which improved the adsorption of NH4PA dispersant. The maximum adsorption at pH 9.5 increased from 0.01 to 0.075 mg/m2 for the as-received and coated Si3N4 powders, respectively. 12 refs.
