Model for Development of Backlash in Aircraft Control Circuit Mechanical Links

A model was developed to identify the effect of limit cycle oscillations (LCOs) on wear characteristics of a wing-aileron system in incompressible flow. The wear in the wing-aileron system with freeplay was shown to be a coupled problem.
