Electron paramagnetic resonance study of Fe sub(2)O sub(3)-Bi sub(2)O sub(3)-GeO sub(2) glasses

The ability of homogeneous glass matrices of the system Fe sub(2)O sub(3)-Bi sub(2)O sub(3)-GeO sub(2) to accept iron with a broad concentration range was examined. Zusammenfassung:The ability of homogeneous glass matrices of the system Fe sub(2)O sub(3)-Bi sub(2)O sub(3)-GeO sub(2) to accept iron with a broad concentration range was examined. Glasses were prepared by melting in an electric furnace at 1250 degree C for 10 minutes. X-ray diffraction analysis did not reveal any crystalline phase. Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) measurements were performed at room temperature.
